From Mexico, take Highway 54 South approximately 2 miles to Route D. Turn right (West) on Route D and travel 2.1 miles to gravel Road 261. Turn left (South) on Road 261 and travel 2.2 miles. The cemetery sets on the left side of Road 261.

( Stephen Irving Smith died at the Confederate Home of Missouri April 3, 1916 of influenza and was buried in the Home cemetery on Wednesday, April 5, 1916.)
