Feel free to request a look-up from the following reference resources. Please limit your lookup to one name per request. Make sure you put AUDRAIN COUNTY LOOKUP in the subject line of your request to ensure the message is not overlooked or accidentally deleted, and in the first line of the message be sure to put the title of the resource in which you are requesting the lookup.

It has been brought to my attention that there have been a number of requests in which the person requesting information did NOT read the guide lines. If in doubt as to proper conduct in asking for a lookup, please re-read this entirely before sending an email. One name per request. Limited to the specific record mentioned. A cemetery lookup is not where you ask for an obituary. Information is limited to what is on the tombstone. DO NOT ask for anything else.

The USGenWeb Project will not tolerate any copyright violations. Lookup requests should be limited to one name, or perhaps two if it is a married couple. Information given will be minimal, for example, if it is a cemetery lookup, the information will be the name of the cemetery and dates on the headstone. Please do not ask for "everyone with X surname" or an entire family group, or for hardcopies to be mailed; the volunteers have been asked not to comply with such requests.

Our lookups will extend to searching the book to determine if the book would be helpful to you in your research. Should the book prove useful, we can provide the authors address and ordering information.
