WISDOM, Martha Emile Gant 11-5-1848 2-3-1890

WISDOM, Thomas Smith 8-14-1843 2-2-1925

From a descendant of the Faucett family:
In 1830, Edward Faucett sold his 100 acres of land in Alamance  County, North Carolina, to William E. Faucett (1798-1873), and  migrated to Audrain County, Missouri.  He left a will there.  Edward  Faucett donated the land for the Salt River Christian Church Cemetery  and is buried there.

William E. Faucett is my great great great grandfather.  Edward  Faucett is either his father or uncle, but this Edward Faucett raised  (the illegitimate) William E. Faucett, William E. Faucett having been  apprenticed to Edward Faucett by action of the Orange County, NC,  Circuit Court on May 29, 1806.

A message on the rootsweb/ancestry board says: "Edward Faucett donated the land for the Salt River Christian Church Cemetery, Wilson Township, Audrain County, Missouri, United States. Edward is buried there as well of several of his descendants ...Faucett, Hurdle, Gant, Wisdom, Williams".
