This is a very important  listing for earlier burials in Mexico. After  Elmwood Cemetery was opened , this one was no longer used and there were exhumations/removals to Elmwood.

Notes Anna Eliza Bishop  Old Village Cemetery

Ann Eliza Lander was born about 1827 in Kentucky.
She married Greenberry B. Bishop in Trigg Co., Ky. in 1842, died 14 April 1854 near Mexico, Missouri.
Also interred in Old Village Cemetery are a daughter, Mary Isabel Bishop (July 13, 1846-Oct. 6, 1847) and son, James Wallace Bishop (April 14, 1850-Aug. 20, 1851).
An older son, Napoleon Bishop, died in Warren County, Mo. on March 2, 1878, aged 33 yr. 8 mo. 11 da.
